REGATTA SAILING COURSE

SAILING LEVEL- Beginner, Advance

This course aims to give attendees the skilles and confidence they require to participate independently in competitive sailing and to apply acquired knowledge successful in the regatta field. This course is for all ateendees who are interested in competitive sailing, and for those who possess knowledge from our Advanced Sailing course. 

During the course, participants become familiar with the theory, regatta rules and terms used in the regattas. Participants will move trough all positions on the boat from the bow to the stern, to understand each position well. The focus of this course is also on developing a strong team spirit which is crucial in regatta environment

Trough the program, we train in situations simulating regatta conditions, such as the arrival and round passing of windward and leedward marks as well as simulating the regatta start. During this regatta sailing program, we emphasize sail trimming, training with the gennaker and spinnaker, basic sailing rules, tactics of the start, starting procedure, protests etc. By the end of the Regatta Sailing course, attendees will feel confident to join a team and participate in regattas.

 DAILY SCHEDULE

• 09:00 a.m. Breakfast on board
• 10:00 a.m. Theoretical lecture
• 11:00 a.m. Practical classes at sea
• 02:00 p.m. Lunch Break
• 03:00 p.m. Practical classes at sea
• 05:00 p.m. Arrival in marina
• 07:00 p.m. Dinner

BASE - FARR 30: MARINA JADRANOVO, JADRANOVO

BASE - SALONA 380: MARINA PIROVAC

CHECK-IN: Saturday from 4 p.m.
CHECK OUT: Friday till 16 p.m.

TYPE OF SAILING BOAT: FARR 30, POGO 12,50, SALONA 380

DURATION: 7 days

ACCOMMODATION: During all seven days the attendees will be situated on the boat - 7 overnight stays.

MEALS: 

• Breakfast on board-team prepares breakfast
• Lunch on-board - lunch package or team cooking.
• Dinners are organized as follows - in the local taverns or on the boat- (team preparation)

Minimum number  of attendees: 4

LANGUAGES:  English, Croatian

PRICE PER PERSON: 650 € on *FARR 30, 1350 € on POGO 12,50, 850 € on SALONA 380

PRICE INCLUDES: Professional skipper instructor, boat, accommodation on-board, bed linen, gas for the kitchen, safety equipment, course materials, T-shirt, final cleaning, tourist tax.

PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: Fuel, marina fee, food and beverages, VAT 25%.
